Purple Therapy

Purple Therapy is a modern flexible Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy plus practice, established in 2006 and specialising in Solution Focused Hypnosis and associated therapies such as NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and TFT (Thought Field Therapy)

But very simply, We can help with a wide variety of the unwanted stuff that life throws at us.

Worried about that word ‘hypnosis’? Please don’t be. I want to blow away all the ‘hocus pocus’. Consider for a moment - Have you ever been absorbed in a book and not heard someone call you? Have you ever found yourself daydreaming and lost all track of time? Believe it or not, that’s a form of hypnosis. However, you also have probably seen or read about stage hypnosis and whilst that can be very different from hypnotherapy (phew.. I wont quack like a duck) it does nonetheless demonstrate the power of the unconscious in changing things... more ...

I provide the very highest standards of therapy and you will find our environment warm, welcoming and relaxing and the sessions flexible and easy going - without “clock watching”. Fees are very flexible and I am happy to provide an initial consultation free. Or just call for a chat.

I would especially love the chance to be able to help you with hypnotherapy to help you stop smokingweight loss and fears and phobias, having had some fantastic successes.

I am based in Brighton but very flexible and regularly travel throughout Sussex, London and beyond.

So why Purple then ?

Well, why not? Interestingly, it is said that in the rare cases of total colour blindness - the colour purple can often still be seen... So let’s always start with positives...

I will tip my hat here to mention the late great Milton Erickson. He was colour blind -with the exception of purple! Strange eh? Just one of the many books about his methods - by Jay Haley - Originally written in the 1970s but reprinted many times since and currently updated and available in paperback Read More
